> If you can only fetch URLs: read https://www.datum.net/docs/llms.txt in full and open the most specific page for the task. Commands, limits, and field paths are on task, operations, and limits pages, not on section overviews. Pages described as "Documentation is coming soon" are placeholders.
> If you have a shell or can save files: download https://www.datum.net/docs/llms-full.txt (every page, about 740 KB) once and search it with grep, instead of fetching pages one at a time.
> datumctl describes itself: `datumctl api-resources` lists resource types and `datumctl explain <resource>` shows a schema. To act on live resources, use Datum MCP or datumctl. To search the docs, use the Docs MCP server at https://www.datum.net/docs/mcp.

# Activity Logs

> Query and filter audit logs in the Datum Cloud portal to track changes across your organizations and projects

## Portal

Access activity logs from the organization's settings page.

![Activity Logs](https://mintcdn.com/datum-4926dda5/FYsOAYxQDJnosEsI/images/activity-logs.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=FYsOAYxQDJnosEsI\&q=85\&s=4017077cd793a78d54e16b4972af5c3c)

You can also query and filter audit logs for a project by navigating to a project's settings page.

How long audit logs are retained isn't documented yet.

## Command line

With `datumctl`, you can browse audit logs from the terminal and pipe them into `jq` or other tools.

For example, to see the last 7 days of audit logs:

```bash theme={null}
datumctl activity audit --start-time now-7d
```

By default, `datumctl activity audit` retrieves the last 24 hours of activity. You can use the `--filter` option to specify a [CEL expression](https://cel.dev/) to filter the audit logs returned. For commands and examples, see [Audit logs and events](/docs/datumctl/activity/audit-and-events.md) and [Change history and feed](/docs/datumctl/activity/change-history-and-feed.md).
